KEY HORSE RACING TIPS

TIPS

We provide tips normally everyday and usually by 0200 hrs in the morning for the following days racing.
We will not advise a selection simply to have a bet - we only bet when we believe that there is a profit to be made and therefore on rare days we will not advise a bet.

HORSES TO BE BEHIND

We mainly select horses which are fit and have good recent form . We also watch for market moves and other form factors.

STAKING

LAYING
We also rarely advise on lay tips, both win and place, when the circumstances and value show it is a viable proposition.  We proof the lays at Betfair's Starting Price (BSP).

BEST ODDS GUARANTEED (BOG)


It is advised that you take the best odds guaranteed by the bookie (aka BOG) because if the odds go higher at the off you will get this rather than the price you took. 


The difference is massive in terms of profit. Taking 9/4 as opposed to 2/1 is a difference of 12.5% which would be huge in business terms.

BOOKIE ACCOUNTS

To capitalise on a good strike rate you need to obtain the best odds available.  To do this you need a decent amount of bookie accounts and to take the best odds you can by checking on an odds comparison site such as Oddschecker prior to betting.  

TREAT IT AS A BUSINESS

We use a combination of 3 factors to increase our profit:

 

  • Selection 
  • Choice of bookie 
  • Staking

 

It is advised that punters treat betting as a business. You should have a separate betting bank and it should go without saying that betting on virtual races, fixed bet terminals and casinos is generally a mistake as there will only be one winner (and it won't be you!)
